At Gigis’s Coffee Roasters, we are a small-batch, zero-emissions coffee roastery based in Washington, D.C. Founded by a female computer science graduate, Gigi’s was created to bridge the gap between coffee and science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM)—highlighting the precision and creativity behind every bean.

We chose to build this company after recognizing two gaps: the need for more accessible, high-quality coffee spaces in Ward 7, and the opportunity to connect everyday experiences like coffee to STEM. Our brick-and-mortar shop was created to serve and bring together the local community, while our roastery and e-commerce platform allow us to share that same quality and intention beyond D.C.
